Default Install Trouble

I am currently running Ceedo version 3.1.0.22 on my Lexar thumb drive and am having trouble installing anything onto it. I had an issue with Firefox, so I un-installed it, and tried to re-installing it. Currently I cannot install ANYTHING onto my device. Firefox, Chrome, nothing works. It appears to download OK, but when I run the install, it just stops and nothing happens.

Any help would be appreciated.

John, please try the following:

Connect your drive to your PC.

Open My Computer (Computer in Vista and Win7), and right-click on your drive and select Open from the context menu.

Open the Ceedo folder.

Open the second Ceedo folder and delete everything in it.

Download the installer for the latest version of Ceedo and run it to repair Ceedo on your drive.

This should resolve the issue for you.

Unfortunately that did not work. It appears that the file is downloaded, but when I click on "Run" nothing happens. When I look for the file that was downloaded, it appears that nothing was actually downloaded.

I am at a loss..

Open this URL in Internet Explorer, John. When you click on the download link for the Ceedo installer, you'll have the option to either save the file or run it.

Run the file directly from the server instead of saving it.

Was actually referring to the URL in my previous post, but I added it to the last one as well.

I have re-installed Ceedo as was suggested in the previous posts. That seemed to work OK. Unfortunately, I am still unable to install any applications. I tried Firefox and CCleaner, both unsuccessful. They appeared to download, but that was it. After downloading, it said "Loading Firefox/CCleaner", then it went away. Nothing. Zip.

I tried Spyware Blaster as well. That went to "Run" and that was it.

Not sure if this related, but my SecureII vaults have stopped working as well.

Frustrating!....sigh.
