Avant Browser

Has anyone tried installing Avant Browser and getting it to work on Ceedo? If so, could you tell me if there are anything special to note about the installation using Argo?

Last time I installed Avant via Argo, it worked just fine. Nothing special to do.

Thanks Keith. I wasn't clear in my email, sorry about this. What I was looking for is really how to set Avant Browser as the default browser. I understand this can be done for Firefox but how can I do this for Avant?

go to:
-options
-web & email
-web browser
and select avant from there

If Avant does not show up in the Ceedo options, there should be a function in Avant itself to set it as the default browser. Once you have set it as the default browser from within the Avant options and restarted Ceedo, it should show up in the Ceedo options if it doesn't show up there already.

I no longer have Avant installed on my Ceedo drive, so unfortunately, I can't point you right at it.

Thanks Keith and Kevinbui. Unfortunately, Avant does not show up in the Options even after I've restarted Ceedo or the PC. I'm not sure if the reason is because Avant is not really a browser in its own right but one that rides on Internet Explorer. Is there a registry tweak in Ceedo that I could access and change? Or has anyone installed Avant on Ceedo and managed to get it listed along with Firefox and Internet Explorer in Ceedo Options? I suspect somewhere in Ceedo, there is a listing of browsers which does not include Avant, so Ceedo does not list it in the Options even though Avant is installed and working fine on Ceedo.
