Hi,
I just started using ceedo/argo and I've been trying to install iTunes. I'm guessing that it isn't possible but I figured I would ask. I keep getting an error message saying:

Error getting file security: F\ceedo\Program Files\Commom Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\OutlookSyncClient.dll GetLastError: 3

Is there any way around this?

Thanks in advance,
Garnetron

Hi garnetron, this means that the setup could not create the file due to the fact that the folder is not existing. I guess you install it on a PC with Itunes already installed. To solve this problem, create the folder structure manually \ceedo\Program Files\Commom Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\ and than start the setup again. Good luck

I'm still not having any luck installing iTunes. Now the error message reads:

Error getting file security: F:\ceedo\Program Files\Common Files \Apple\Mobile Device Support\bin\OutlookSyncClient.dll GetLastError: 2

So I guess creating the file did something but not enough for me to install.
Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Garnetron

As far as I know, Ceedo does still not support services (iTunes automation server) thus making iTunes able to run in Ceedo impossible. There is no way you can bypass the service as iTunes needs it in order to function (there are some few other threads also in this forum mentioning iTunes and that it doesn't work quite yet).

will iTunes be ever supported by Ceedo?

Yah, it will, but not before they implement support for services. Untill then you're out of luck I'm afraid! :)
