How can I install ThumbsPlus 7 SP1

I would like to install ThumbsPlus 7 SP1 in the Ceedo/Argo environment. I could not install it because so far I received a database/sql connect error message. During the installation process it wants to generate a database that provoced this error message.

Does any body know how to install it in the Ceedo/Argo environment? Thank you for your help

I just downloaded and installed the 30 day trial version of Thumbsplus 7 SP1 on my test drive. I also ran into the database issue.

As you are aware, Thumbsplus is attempting to connect to an SQL database (to store its data in), but there is no SQL driver installed in Ceedo to allow this to happen.

I installed Thumbsplus on my PC's hard drive and didn't have an issue connecting to the database. Unfortunately, though, Ceedo does not support the installation of drivers of any kind at the moment (this is to the best of my knowledge), and thus, cannot install an SQL driver for Thumbsplus to use to connect to the database.

Long story short: you're SOL with installing Thumbsplus ... at least for now, that is. Hopefully Ceedo will support device driver installations down the line. I would say that this is a fair possibility as the Ceedo team is continually working to improve and extend the capabilities of Ceedo.

Too bad that the installation of drivers (in this instance SQL-drivers) is not supported. I guess I will have to wait for Ceedo/Argo to include this functionality.

Since English is not my native language, I do not know what you meant with "SOL". What does it mean?
