My internal HD is encrypted with SafeGuard Easy 4.30.1. And everytime I want to start IE in Ceedo Mode, SafeGuard tries to install itself again (MSI Installer; tries it again and again and in Ceedo Mode). If you let it goes the way, he says he needs a reboot. But after the reboot the problem is still present.
I don't know, if it is a problem from SafeGuard or a problem from Ceedo (I think it is the first, because there is not the same problem with any other ceedo started app) and only want to notice my experience ...

I'm curious as to why you would install Ceedo on a corporate desktop or laptop? I'm assuming it is a business computer since that is what SafeGuard Easy is aimed at. I don't understand the usefulness unless it's just for testing.

As to your IE problem; sounds like a SafeGuard Easy issue. Ceedo will run from within an encrypted TrueCrypt volume so I would think it "should" work off SafeGuards encrypted hard drive as well. Have you contacted SafeGuard tech support, or can't you since it's a business machine?

It isn't a business machine, I encrypt it for myself...

I haven't contact the guys from SafeGuard Eas, but will do this in the next days.

EDIT: I detect that the problem comes with opening the Explorer from inside Ceedo, too.

I forgot to say that the problem isn't present after you makes Firefox or another alternative browser inside Ceedo as your default browser ...

Wow...I also assumed it was a business computer because i figured no one would spend $240 to encrypt their hard drive.

I think we could have steered you to much less expensive alternatives (like free) for data security and encryption.

SafeGuard Easy also has some security & administrative flaws according to some reviews I have read:
http://www.techworld.com/security/reviews/index.cfm?reviewID=335&pagtype=samechan
http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,117661-page,1/article.html

Based upon what I've read I think SafeGuard Easy is really geared more towards corporate customers rather than individual users. I certainly wouldn't recommend it. I sincerely wish you luck in resolving your issues with them.

Thx a lot.

I know that it is thought for corporate desktops, but I, a private person, need my encrypted system drive and so I have to buy something for solving my wishes ...
