Hi folks,
I love Ceedo and can't wait to start using Argo more. I installed Winamp Full using Argo to get its full functionality - modern skins etc. However, I'm finding that periodically it crashes and the next time I try to run it I get an error message saying it is not installed correctly. To get it to work I must uninstall and reinstall. Also, many plugins do not seem to work at al after I install them with Argo. They show as installed but do not function. The plugin issue separate from the crashing issue because it crashed twice when it was plugin-free. Any ideas?

I started by installing WinAmp lite from programs directory. Then WinAmp notified me that there was an update for a newer version,i clicked yes. Then i proceeded to install the full version(v5.34) on top of the lite version. So far,so good is working with the tipical slow loading.Hope it works for you too, good luck.

I saw that prompt the first time I installed Winamp but after installing the 5.34 update and running Winamp I got that error message that it was not installed correctly. I had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to run in classic mode again. That's when I tried installing the full version with Argo. It would seem I've got some weirdness going on with particular to my Ceedo installation. Thanks for the idea though :) Has anyone else run into this problem?

In your first post above, you are stating you started with the full version first. My suggestion is to start with the lite version first, then when the program takes you to the WinAmp site, instead of the light version again, get the full.

That's what I tried to explain in my last message - the very first thing I did was install Winamp Lite through the Ceedo Programs page. That worked just fine. Second, I followed the automatic prompt to install the 5.34 update. Once installed, Winamp did not run anymore. It gave me the error message that Winamp was not installed correctly, so I uninstalled Winamp. Third, I reinstalled the Lite version again through the Ceedo Page, then ran the 5.34 full version update with Argo. That worked at first, but later spontaneously gave me the error message that Winamp was not installed correctly. I have repeated the two installations several times (first Lite through the Ceedo page then the Full update through Argo). The only solution I have found to that periodic spontaneous corruption of the installation is to uninstall and reinstall the Lite version through the Ceedo page, then reinstall the Full version through Argo. It works fine for several uses, but then spontaneously stops working.

I think your mistake was the use of Argo, what i did was i closed WinAmp first, then clicked "run",it will automatically follow the path to where the program was installed in Ceedo.
