new hardware

trying to install store n go 12gb,new hardware wizard wont come up,running xp sp2,on igb ram igb mem with exp 7,on hp pc.when i plug in to usb no go.new today,works on other pcs here.help thanks

Could be a device driver issue that is causing the problem.

You should check your device manager for flagged devices.

To do this, click start and right-click my computer and left-click on properties.

Click on the hardware tab and then on the device manager button.

If you have any devices that do not have the device drivers installed, you will see a category labeled 'Other Devices'. Anything listed in this category needs to have the driver installed.

If you have an yellow exclamation point on any devices, you should also reinstall the drivers for these devices.

If your system was recognizing the drive at some point, you can also use system restore to roll the operating system back to before the issue began.

To run system restore, click start | all programs | accessories | system tools | system restore, and follow the on-screen instructions.
