Ceedo setup program won't recognize my TrueCrypt partition as an installable device?
It's mounted as a removable device in TrueCrypt, but Ceedo won't see it anyway...

On what OS are you working on? If you are working on Vista it will not work.

It's Windows XP Pro SP2.

Hi ICDeadPpl, Does the partion have a drive letter? Without a Drive letter bound to the partion, Ceedo will have problems to run. If yes, a solution could be that you install a trail version of Ceedo on a non encrypted drive. Then copy the whole drive to your truecrypte drive. Ceedo should run. Start "buy now" from your truecrypte drive to get the ceedo licence. Note, Ceedo will not run from the truecrypte container, because it has no Drive Letter.

It has a drive letter, my TrueCrypt partition works just fine with every other application out there, it's just Ceedo that won't recognize it...

Let's hope Ceedo supports installation on a TrueCrypt partition in a near future (bug/feature request?).
Otherwise, I really like Ceedo, as I tried it on an unencrypted USB drive!

Hi ICDeadPpl, don´t give up on having a encrypted drive. I use truecrypte too. It is just the issue that the direct installation is not working, I guess it has something to do with the drive recognition. Copy an already fully installed trial version to your truecrypte partition. Ceedo will run. :-)

Hi

I am a new Freeagent Go user. I heard about TrueCrypt. Can anyone help me by describing the procedures on how to install TrueCrypt on my freeagent?

Do I need to partition my freeagent first?

Thanks a lot.
