:( Is there a known workaround for using ceedo with a 64bit install of xp?
everytime i try to run ceedo it tells me that it is not designed to start directly use the autostart option. ive tried the same drive and install on 32bit machine that my roomate has and it works fine. it does me no good to have it if i cant get it to work on a 64 bit system

abbadon,

With XP 64 bit, you would have to start Ceedo in compatibility mode because Ceedo is a 32 bit app. To do this, connect your Ceedo drive, and when the autorun menu pops up, cancel it.

Next, open My Computer, right-click on your Ceedo drive, and left-click on Open. Right-click on Autorun and left-click on Properties.

Click on the Compatibility tab. Under Compatibility mode, check the box that is labeled, 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:', and in the drop down menu, select the appropriate operating system.

Click on Apply, and then on Okay.

Double-click on Autorun on your Ceedo drive, and if the computing gods are smiling upon you, Ceedo will run. I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you, though. Remember, this is Windows that we are talking about here.

Good luck!
