Ceedo crashed with custom theme

Tried to port my old Classic theme from 2007.

Got DLL It works with new toolbar but when I've tried to test classic toolbar Ceedo crashed.

it must be serious, even if a resource is not named right and the program can't find it, it shouldn't crash, it should just not be able to show that resource.

If you like I could pack your classic theme onto the latest classic blue dll (2.5.0.7) but you'll need to send over any docking resources you have made for the refresh version ;)

Sam, also I have mentioned this as a bug, I wonder if this is causing your crash.
If you change the Theme field and change from dock to classic / visa versa all in the one instance it will crash Ceedo.

Does it crash if the theme is applied and then you open options and change to the Classic from the Dock?

then sorry I dont have a work around for you, tried removing the autorun.inf and manually launching autorun.exe? it will reset theme information, so you'll at least be able to get back to your Ceedo with the default theme applied that way, if you can't :)

there must be a reason, maybe one of the packed files has a bad character or something like that. .. rest of post sent to you in pm sam.

Just to make sure - this happens ONLY if you change the theme and toolbar type at the same time, right?

First theme, then toolbar (theme is already applied).

so it happens even if you don't change the theme? Here we could only recreate it if both the theme and the toolbar were changed

thats a different bug, I believe this one is related to somehow the way the theme is packed and the current ceedo reading from it.
What I wonder, if you reset to the standard, do you still get crashes? it doesn't right, it only crashes when you use your classic theme?

I haven't been able to replicate this (second) one.

me neither, since its happening to sam and he has the classic refresh theme which is doing it

I think it's my classic theme. I haven't tried to pack it differently yet. Good that it led to theme + classic toolbar discovery.

Sorry to spoil your limelight, but that bug was discovered and reported a few weeks before this thread.
