Formating FreeAgent Go 160GB By mistake....

Hi guys

Can anyone tell me how to restore my FreeAgent Go 160GB, I bought it brand new now its broke, I am asking if anyone have an idea how to restore it or how to get the operating software of the FreeAgent Go 160GB from the seegate by giving them my free agent info??????????????

You would have two options to restore your Seagate FreeAgent drive to its former glory.

The first option would be to download and run the restore tool from Seagate, which you can find here (http://67.18.163.196/horde/services/go.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.seagate.com%2Fsupport% 2Ffreeagent%2Fmobile-recovery-efigs.zip). This will restore your drive back to the state it was in when you first purchased it.

The second option is to download the latest version of Ceedo, which will be a later version than the restore tool from Seagate will provide you with, and install it on your drive. This option will install only Ceedo, and not the extra software that shipped on your drive.

You will not need to purchase an additional Ceedo license if you install the official Ceedo release, but you will still need additional licenses for Argo and Backup & Restore.
